Leadership_Eamonn

Eamonn Ozerovitch

VP of Digital Experience

Eamonn oversees content creation, community management, and digital content strategy, unlocking new audiences and revenue through digital content growth and innovation.

He has more than 30 years of IT experience, including strategy development and implementation, project management and budgeting control within the financial services, publishing, manufacturing, outsourcing and healthcare sectors. Previously, he held senior digital technology positions at Financial News Network, Barclays International Funds and Siemens Business Services. His entrepreneurial experience includes serving as Founder and CTO at JMT Ventures and JJBoo.

He has a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Hertfordshire, UK.

James Washer

Principal Engineer

James guides and drives the overall design and development of HEAL Security’s software products.

He has 37 years of technology experience in software engineering, including at Unisoft and Innovative Interfaces, and as leader of the Worldwide Unix L3 team at Sequent Computer Systems. He has worked across multiple platforms, including network diagnostics; deep problem solving, debugging and mentoring in compilers and debuggers; Assembly language coding for several architectures, including X86, X86_64, PowerPC and IBM Z; application development in C, Python and Perl; embedded software and hardware systems design; and cloud/microservices development. Previously, he worked for 22 years at IBM, most recently as Head of the Linux Change Team. He is a Certified SQL engineer, Apache Cassandra developer and master problem solver.

He has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University Hayward.

Sanjay Joshi

Chief Product and Strategy Officer

Sanjay leads data and strategy for the product portfolio at HEAL Security.

He has more than 36 years of experience in healthcare technology, cyber and artificial intelligence. Alongside his role at HEAL Security he is currently a lecturer in business technology at the University of Washington. His previous experience includes Global CIO Healthcare and Life Sciences at Tanium, CTO at Dell Computer Corporation, and executive positions at H20 Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center, and Siemens Medical Solutions. He has been a founding team member for multiple startups and involved in several nonprofit and data networking organizations. He holds US Patent 8,630,833 in multi-dimensional flow cytometry analytics, with other patent applications in process.

He has a PhD Level in C programming and non-matriculate in molecular biotechnology from the University of Washington; a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of New South Wales in Australia; and a bachelor’s degree in instrumentation technology from Bangalore University in India.

Bob O’Brien

VP of Products

Bob’s role is to simultaneously see the big and small picture. He provides a long-term strategic direction that balances analytical and human perspectives, enabling HEAL Security to rapidly adapt to market forces, promote innovation and set the pace for a growth mindset.

He has more than 44 years of technology experience in product strategy, management and engineering leadership to drive business outcomes and build global-scale companies. He has extensive expertise in creating scalable SaaS solutions leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning, employing far-sighted approaches to technology adoption in established international corporations and technology startups. Previously, he was Senior Product Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS), Co-Founder at Innovation Future Partners, Consultant at Blue Jean Consulting and Senior Director Product Management at Microsoft.

He completed coursework in business, management, marketing and related support services at Highline College.

Mark Broomer

VP of Marketing and Communications

Mark is responsible for HEAL Security’s messaging and communications — developing collateral that focuses on the critical cybersecurity issues that the global healthcare industry is facing, and the unique range of products and services that we’re developing to address them.

He has more than 35 years of international experience in B2B corporate communications and investor relations for leading corporations across many industry sectors, including Cisco, Tesla, CVC Capital Partners, Lloyds Banking Group, Bentley Motors, UBS and IBM. He is an award-winning corporate storyteller who has successfully produced marketing campaigns, and digital and traditional media collateral for several start-up and pre-IPO firms, including WalkMe, Active Energy Group, Nova AI and Proactive Investors.

He has completed various professional training programs, including Chartered Institute of Marketing, Institute of Graphic Communications, public speaking and corporate communications courses.

Jeanine “Nini” Martin

Chief Commercial Officer

Nini is HEAL Security’s Chief Commercial Officer (aka Chief Business Officer). She oversees the corporate development and commercial strategies of the company.

She has more than 25 years of experience in the public health sector and private commercial market across the health provider, health payer and life sciences healthcare ecosystems. Previously, she was Global SVP of Enterprise Commercial Partners at Olive AI, and she has held executive roles at Microsoft, Avanade, Conduent and start-ups. She is a Gates Fellow, Olympic-level athlete, Microsoft Certified Solution Provider and Certified Solution Selling Trainer. She has recently been nominated to join the National HFMA Leadership Council (CFOs in Healthcare) for 2023.

She has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of South Carolina Beaufort.

Bonnie De Smet-Bacon

VP of Operations

Bonnie develops and implements policies for the daily operations and is the liaison between the vision and the execution of HEAL Security’s policies and objectives.

She has more than 20 years of business operations experience, combining innovation and organization to deliver results. Her healthcare expertise includes senior roles at Creighton University, Stanford New Hospital and Stanford Cancer Center. Her start-up experience includes serving as Client Services Manager at Collabrax LLC and Director of Operations and Business Development at Starlight Consultants LLC. She is the founder of a 501(C)3 community development organization.

She has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in urban planning from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Charles Aunger

Founder, President and CEO

Charles is the president, CEO and founder of HEAL Security.

He brings more than 25 years of healthcare IT and cybersecurity experience to HEAL Security. He is also Managing Director of Technology and an advisory board member of Health2047, the innovation arm of the American medical Association. Previously, he was Senior Executive Director at Stanford Clinic and SVP at Cleveland Clinic. He held prior executive positions at NHS, BUPA Healthcare, Accenture, KPMG, Microsoft and Glaxo. Charles’s entrepreneurial experience includes startup team at ServerWare, leading a technology spinout from Schlumberger, and serving as founding CTO of VHGroup/Music 3w and Co-Founder and CTO of SDN Networking. He is an official member of the Forbes Technology Council, and an ELITE Group Executive and Distinguished Fellow by Royal Charter of the British Computer Society.

He has a master’s degree in information systems management from the University of Liverpool, UK; and a bachelor’s degree in electronics/computing from Oxford Brookes University, UK.
